Consultations - as many pre-listing or buyer consultations as you need until you feel comfortable and prepared. We will walk through the buying/selling process and go over estimated costs worksheet. We want to eliminate any surprises.

Communication - we carry Blackberries and respond to all calls and emails promptly. You will always be kept up-to-date on market conditions, new listings, and marketing activities including our weekly online marketing update as well as feedback from showings. Our clients get so used to talking to us that they still keep in contact long after the transaction is complete!

Experience - rely on the knowledge that only experience can bring. Jane has been a licensed Realtor since 1998, instituted a mentor program at Long & Foster to assist new agents and continually receives awards for sales achievement. An experienced agent, who has practiced in varying market conditions, can anticipate and resolve problems before they arise in a transaction. Industry experience means smarter negotiating skills which equals a better price and more desirable terms for you!

Marketing Specialist - we have a full time marketing professional on our staff! Lisa Gilbert (a licensed Realtor and Magna Cum Laude graduate with a B.A. in Communication) has developed a highly successful marketing program for listings.  Our marketing plan is so successful that other agents hire Lisa as a consultant!

Teamwork- two for the price of one! We each have our own strengths and specialties. Since we are a mother and daughter team we really live and breathe real estate! There is always someone available to take you to see new listings or answer any questions you might have.

Integrity - we are straight-forward, honest and genuine professionals who abide by the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics. We tell you the truths of a situation and assist you in making a decision that is best for you. We are not pushy sales people. We feel that if we do what is right we will be rewarded. We believe in the power of positive thinking but maintain logical levelheadedness.

Education - we are dedicated to ongoing education to keep ourselves current in all aspects of real estate such as legal changes, economic influences, new roads and development (such as the ICC), marketing trends and technology.

Efficiency - we love anything that assists us in being more efficient. To that end we utilize several real estate services that not only increase our productivity, but serve to inform our sellers.

Centralized Showing Service (CSS) / Showings.com - coordinates showings for listings, tracks all showings and records feedback, sellers receive online access

Settlement Room - a web-based application that gives all parties involved (agents, settlement attorney, lender and sellers) access to a secure website for up-to-date transaction status information, task tracking document management and more.

Visual Tour - the industry’s leading provider of virtual tour technology and services. Besides being uploaded to multiple websites, your virtual link can be emailed, burned to CD, and all views tracked with a weekly emailed report.

Attention to Detail - we are a stickler for details. The first impression of a buyer on a seller is their sales contract and it is our job to make sure you have completed all the necessary paperwork completely and accurately. Overlooking details in a contract can lead to costly mistakes and since we represent you we will be protecting your best interests in the transaction - from contract through to settlement. Similarly, in representing our sellers through our comprehensive marketing plan we ensure that potential buyers have complete and accurate information about your home including an abundance of carefully selected and staged photographs, fliers and a custom virtual tour. When we receive an offer on your home we analyze it thoroughly and will keep on top of the buyers agent and lender to ensure all appropriate steps are being taken and all timelines are being adhered to so as to ensure a successful and smooth transaction.

Flexibility - how can we accommodate you? We have a fully mobile office and are prepared to come to you in the comfort of your home to sign paperwork or write offers. We will always strive to accommodate your schedule and are available to preview homes on evenings and weekends. We are full time career agents, not part-time, so you can reach us anytime!
